Policies & Procedures
- Facility Business Operating Hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Annex Meeting Rooms, Arena, Horse Arena, or Grounds will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis through the Wakulla Extension Office. Community activities will receive priority. Any group using the facilities on a continuing basis may be asked to change their meeting time if they conflict with important special events.
- Office Complex Meeting Rooms are only available to non-profit organizations during our normal operating hours
- All users of the Wakulla Extension Multi-Purpose Center Facilities are asked to do the following:
a. Pick up key from the County Extension Office the day before the use of the facility or on Friday preceding the weekend. The activity or event must be scheduled in advance and be on the Wakulla County Extension Multi-Purpose Facilities' Calendar. At the conclusion of the event the key must be deposited in the marked drop box.
b. All renters must end their activity by 10:00 p.m. and after clean-up, vacate the premised by 10:30 p.m. in order to avoid violation of the County Noise Ordinance.
c. Leave tables and chairs in the room you found them and in orderly fashion. Do not remove them from the premises.
d. All rooms shall be cleaned trash put in containers. All trash shall be removed from the facility and placed in the dumpster provided. All sponsors of outdoor activities must keep grounds free of trash and debris.
e. Do not damage walls with nails, push pins, etc. We require the use of scotch tape only. Renter is required to remove all posters, etc. from facility.
f. All groups must furnish their own kitchen utensils.
g. DO NOT cook fish in any rental facility. Fish may be cooked outside or in the old Livestock Pavilion arena.
h. DO NOT USE OR POSSESS ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS WHILE ON PREMISES.
- A fee per day will be charged for individual and organizational use (this includes family reunions, personal parties; fundraising activities, etc. (see the above schedule).
- A cleaning and damage deposit will be paid in advance to book all facilities ($25.00 Annex Bldg Rooms and Horse Arena / $50.00 for Multi-Purpose Arena. This will be refunded if the facility rented is left in good condition and free of damages after the event.
- Any infraction of rules will eliminate the parties concerned from further use of the facilities.
Indemnification: The applicant and any other persons, organizations, firms, or corporations on whose behalf the facility is rented, agree to obtain liability insurance coverage for the scheduled event and stipulate that they will jointly and severally indemnify and hold the County harmless against all liability, including court costs and attorney’s fees, and attorney’s fees on appeal, for any and all claims for damage to property, or injury to, or death of persons arising out of or resulting from the rental of this facility or the conduct of the assembly or any of its participants.
Proof of Insurance: All applicants and any other persons (not-for-profit and private individuals) on whose behalf the facility is rented are required to carry $100,000 of liability insurance. If the renter has an H03 Homeowners Insurance policy, they agree to present a certificate of validation from their insurance provider stating that their H03 Homeowners Insurance policy coverage will follow them to said event in the amount of no less than $100,000. All organizations, firms, or corporations may not use their H03 Homeowners Insurance policy and shall be required to carry liability insurance in the amount of $100,000.
